Help clients gain insight into the complex nature of traumatic brain injury and maximize their opportunity for health, recovery, and success.
"They say you were a helmet to protect your head, I learned you wear a helmet to protect your mind"
Michelle Goin
When I was first injured, there were very few resources for concussion management and very little access to care. The information and advice I did receive caused me to have a second impact concussion and permanently changed everything in my life. If only I had been given any information or insight on concussion management, my life would be completely different.
I needed a way to map the trajectory of my injury, so I created a system to record an inventory of symptoms. I also created a template for managing the affective, behavioural, and cognitive changes that occur after sustaining a concussion. Your mind matters. This is what Concussion Care Studio can share with you.
OPTION 1
The 3 M-Care Program provides 3 months of symptom tracking with a RED ZONE assessment for managing and monitoring concussion symptoms. For sports related concussions, the first 3 months are critical and you should never risk returning early. The program provides options for an extension if needed.
OPTION 2
One on One concussion support sessions will include using the 8 Prototypes & Pyramid of Hope model for rehabilitation. Tools from Studio 1, Studio 2 and Studio 3 will assist each client in the development of rest, maintenance and progress days with the ultimate goal of preventative post concussion recovery. Please call, text or email to book a one on one session.
